Hero4Heroes new campaign with a vintage note

The Grand Hotel Bonavia in Rijeka was the perfect setting for the new Hero4Heroes campaign, characterized by a slightly vintage note and a melancholic-dramatic “movie” look, perfectly caught by the lens of Marin Mešter, the photographer.

In her F/W 2017 collection called “Later”, designer Marijana Hero played with simple cuts, soft pastel colors and unavoidable black and white, the simplicity of which she contrasted against kitschy elements found in sleeves, bottom hems of dresses and trouser legs. The same playfulness is present in her multifunctional massive scarves, made of sequins, pearls, plastic flowers, patchwork, and handmade and machine-made embroidery, which is all combined together in small, individual collage stories.

The collection also features unique white dresses with faces embellished by hand threaded white pearls and large plastic leaves, offset by simple, somewhat fragile, reverse side, creating an interesting silhouette and a story of simplicity upgraded by each pearl and each seam next to the pearl collage. In some ways, it mirrors our own story, as we become more mature, enriched by new experiences with each passing hour, with each passing day.

Satin print bomber jackets and tunics have now been joined by faithful companions, Superheroicly bags, made of printed leather with the same motif, complementing them nicely. The collection also includes the already famous Superheroicly pencil case bags in 5 different colors, made of genuine leather.

The hairstyling was done by Valentina Muzlija and credit for the make-up goes to Mladenka Vreneković. The faces of this Hero4Heroes campaign were Elena J. and Sara S., models from Tijara Model Managament.
