The inspiration for the Mansión de Flores collection was a vision of romantic summerhouse by the sea basking in flowers, while the style may be described as a mixture of glamour with biker/punk/rock aesthetics. Dresses which combine glamour (sequins) with a simple T-shirt tied in a knot are a perfect example of that. Special care is taken of materials, with an emphasis on hand-woven tweed with wool. When it comes to the details, they are also mostly handmade: faux gemstones are sawn to handmade leather biker jackets with patchwork and rivets, and handmade boyfriend jeans bear unique patchwork collages and rivets.
Hero4Heroes is also known for its Superheroicly bags. These modern bags with vintage elements, charming, cheerful and playful, feature a recognizable pocket for personal information where each owner-superheroine writes down her name, nickname, superpowers, plan A, plan B, etc. They come in two sizes, mini and midi, and also as belt bags, convenient for nights out, travelling and concerts.
ROYALPATCHY NIGHT LIGHT was the name of the winter gala collection from the fall-winter 15/16 season. It was accompanied by an interesting campaign. The title itself suggests plenty of patchworks through almost every piece of clothing, from tweed dresses to eye-catching, ripped jeans with different legs. The collection is a mixture of young-childish motifs and elegance. An abundance of detail, fabric collage, hand-painted silk, tweed dresses, ripped jeans, patchwork, sea-through muslin shirts with scarf collars, sequins, femininity, courage, colors, freedom and glare… It all took place before the camera of the photographer Karmen Poznić, who managed to blend perfectly the magnificent interior of Miramar Hotel in Opatija with the colors of dresses, creating interesting illustrations for the new Hero4Heroes story.
“Splash, brush and put it in your pocket for later!” – that was the motto of the S/S 15 collection, which was accompanied by the new campaign and lookbook. Once again, designer Marijana Hero trusted photographer Marin Mešter with the creative interpretation of her vision. “I like his work and sensibility very much, I am more and more thrilled every time we work together. He combined everything perfectly, and brought closure to this season’s Hero4Heroes story.”
Bluessying, Spring/Summer 2012The first collection is a story, daydreaming about a lady in blue, in some trendy resort. Seaside, parks, daydreaming, being Grace Kelly for at least a day. That is how the inspiration came, and a new collection was born. The materials used in the collection are dark blue and white broadcloth, muslin, hand-painted silk and lace. The specific details of this collection include openings in a form of a tie complemented by lace, golden chains, and lots of sequins, rivets and pearls which form a mosaic.
